The “Sztuka Cię Szuka” Association, Tofifest IFF, and Domkultury! are pleased to invite all of you to the August edition of the “Filmogranie!” film workshops. There is not much time left to sign up your kids for the event, as the workshops start on 20th August.
“Filmogranie!” is the coolest film workshops in the whole world addressed to kids and youth. Traditionally, the workshops have been included as part of the Tofifest IFF, for a number of years. Some of the workshops are conducted independently of Tofifest, but we are always present, as a partner. And this is exactly the case this time.
The summer edition of Filmogranie starts on 20th August and its central theme will be western. So, you don’t have much time left to sign up your kids. You can do it by email and send your application to sztukacieszuka@gmail.com. Note! There is a limited number of seats.
“Filmogranie!” is an inter-disciplinary project based on informal education, which intention is to carry out a whole spectrum of actions, centred around the broadly-defined film art, and sound and image editing, say the authors of the concept from the “Sztuka Cię Szuka” Association. The goal of the workshops is to work out and disseminate modern methods of animating local communities, by introducing educational and artistic actions. The whole enterprise is fuelled by a programme based on films and workshops.
During the Filmogranie workshops that will continue for a few days in August this year, the people behind them will make an effort to define western as a film genre, make participants familiar with its style and atmosphere, and finalise it with making their own film in the form of a western. It is worth adding that each edition of Filmogranie ended with making a summary film, by young apprentices. Most of such films have been released on DVD, by “Sztuka Cię Szuka” and Tofifest.
This enterprise is partnered by Społeczny Domkultury!, located at Bydgoskie Przedmieście in Toruń, Fundacja Fabryka UTU, and Miasteczko Silverado City, in Bożejewiczki, near Żnin.
Workshops are free of charge, but registration is mandatory —
write to sztukacieszuka@gmail.com. You are welcome!
The project is partially funded by the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province and Toruń Municipal Commune.
