The shooting for Pact, a new Polish film series commissioned by HBO, ended in July. The main character in the series is portrayed by Marcin Dorocinski. The series is directed by Marek Lechki.
The Pact TV series is a six-episode action thriller set in the modern-day Poland. The main protagonist is Piotr (Marcin Dorocinski), a renowned investigative journalist, who we get to know right in the middle of a media caused by his last press release.
'Pact' is a very intensive film story about people from my generation, who started their adult lives back in the 1990s. The story is set in the modern-day vibrant Warsaw, which also gives me a chance to look back at the political transformation of 1989, and what it brought about, says Marek Lechki, director of the series.
The series is produced by Izabela Lopuch (Executive Producer) and Anna Nagler from HBO Polska. The Supervising Producer from HBO Europe is Jonathan Young. The series has produced on the basis of the Norwegian TV Mini-Series 'Mammon'.
In 2011, Marek Lechki received the Golden Angel of Tofifest (Main Prize) in the On Air International Competition.
The series is set to début on HBO in autumn this year.
