Eurimages Fund announced support for 24 European co-productions. One of supported movies will be the new project of the Czech director, Bohdan Slama. Slama is laureate of special Tofifest Golden Angel 2014.
At its meeting held few days ago in Ljubljana (Slovenia), the Board of Management of the Council of Europe's Eurimages Fund agreed to support 18 fiction, 2 animation and 4 documentary feature film projects for a total amount of €5.314.426:
Bohdan Slama will receive support for realisation of film Ice Mother (Bába z ledu). It will be coproduction of Czech Republic, France and Slovakia.
Eurimages support also movie of Tofifest awards winner (for Corn Island) - georgian artist George Ovashvili - Khibula, a coproduction of Georgia, Germany and France.
Slovakian director Iveta Grofova, will receive support for She is a Harbour (Piata ice). Grofova is also Tofifest award winner. Her film will be co-produced by Slovakia, Hungary and the Czech Republic.
Also two Polish coproduction will be supported: Dovlatov directed by Aleksey Germana Jr. (Poland-Russia-Serbia) and Penelope directed by Eva Vila (Spain, Poland) (Documentary)
