Hungarian film Son of Saul directed by László Nemes, is the main favorite for the Academy Award for best non-English Language film. The Academy has just announced a list of nine films nominated in this category.
Cinemagoers could watch Son of Saul, at the one of the first screenings in Poland at this year's Tofifest. American Film Academy has announced the so-called. "shortlist" 9 movies that will compete for the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film Award. There isn't the Polish candidate, movie of Jerzy Skolimowski 11 minutes.

Announcement of the final list, 5 Oscar nominations, will take place at Jan. 14. The Oscars ceremon will be held on 28 February 2016.
