A is a young pre-school teacher who loves children and yearns to be a mother but is diagnosed to be infertile. As an escape from her life, she spends her nights in a cinema. K is a five years old boy who is about to have a little sister. He shares his excitement with A, and unknowingly further agitates her emotions of being infertile. K is not old enough to understand her yet. Years later, K becomes a film director who is now making a film about a young pre-school teacher who loves children and yearns to be a mother but is diagnosed to be infertile.

Fran Borgia was born in southern Spain and based in Singapore, Fran Borgia studied filmmaking in London, Barcelona and Singapore. In 2004, he wrote and directed his first short film, Asia. He has produced several internationally acclaimed films, such as Here (2009), Sandcastle (2010) and The Cloud of Unknowing, presented at the 54th Venice Biennale of Art (2011).
