Juan and Pedro meet each other in a truck full of Mexican immigrants, who are travelling to New York, without any documents. Pedro show Juan a sealed list from his mother and tells his new friend that he is travelling to meet his father Diego, a wealthy restaurant owner, whom he has never seen before. Unfortunately, he wakes up in the morning robbed and completely lost in the streets of a strange city. Meanwhile, Juan goes to Diego with the letter and claims to be his son... Our Father is an excellent example of American independent cinema from Sundance, which features fast tempo and unexpected twists.
