It is a humoristic adaptation of Danse Macabre (Dance of Death), a popular medieval theme. The author takes the liberty to interpret the symbols related to passing, in her own way, and juxtaposes them in a remarkable and very personal collage. Following a three-legged monster, we discover a murky world of the deceased. Seemingly separate elements turn out to be part of a perfectly synchronized organism.

Małgorzata Rżanek has graduated from the Faculty of Graphics at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 2012, she graduated with distinction from the Hieronim Neumann’s Animation Workshop and Lech Majewski’s Graphic Design Workshop. She specialises in making animated films.
