Franco Lolli was born in 1983 in Bogotá, Colombia. He studied cinema in France, first at the University Paul Valery and Sorbonne Nouvelle then at La Femis (direction department). His diploma film Como todo el mundo (Like everybody else), won 26 prizes. He participated in the Cannes Festival Residency Program in 2013.
