A father passionate about cooking since his divorce, a brother that feeds himself with food from supermarket trash bins, a grandmother recycling dried bread into delicious meals and a sister who mixes up her heart with her stomach: Sunday with the family is an intimate portrait of a family marked by divorce and observed from the kitchen.

Annie Gisler was Born in 1983 in Basel. She studied film directing at the ECAM (Escuela de Cine y Audiovisual de Madrid) in 2009–2010. In 2013 she finished BA studies in Film at the ZHdK.
