Adam is 14 years old and lives in a Roma settlement. He loves only two things in life: boxing and the company of black-eyed Julka. Apart from that, the world is not a place that he finds pleasant. Every day, this teenage boy experiences omnipresent poverty, unemployment, austere conditions of life, and people’s apathy. As if that weren’t enough, Adam’s father dies in unclear circumstances. However, his mother does not grieve for long — she soon remarries, so as to secure any future for her four children. His stepfather is a strict man and a local “godfather”, who soon tries to involve Adam in his shady business...
