19 October, 21:00 · Od Nowa – large hall
The life in a small village in the north of Moravia, far away from the big world and its many conflicts, is comprised of two basic elements: doing nothing and sitting in a pub. Village residents conceal their hopelessness with sense of humour and hope for “an event of the year”, which is a dance party in the fire station. Kaja, son of the self-proclaimed village sage, is a shy forester, who is secretly in love with Bozka, a girl running a small shop in the village. Unfortunately, she is fonder of Lada, a local dandy. Much to everybody’s surprise, Kaja’s brother, Petr, returns to the village, on the day when the dance party is to take place.
