Filine is an 11-year-old girl, who spends her days watching an oak and the life vibrating in its immediate vicinity. One day, somebody cuts down all the trees growing in a nearby forest. Will the same fate befall the deciduous “friend” of Filine? It is a beautiful film about nature, the natural processes occurring on the inside and outside of the tree, and also about Filine's emotional world — her dreams and fears.
