2,2 billion years ago, the Earth was entirely covered in ice. The average temperature was about -50° C. and underwater volcanos were still active. Planet ∑ is the creation of an entire world in that icy prehistorical landscape where cold and heat, speed up motion and slow motion, giangantic and microscopic creatures coexist.

Momoko Seto was born in Tokyo in 1980. She went to Tokyo’s French High School and then came to France to study fine arts at the Ecole Supérieure des Beaux-Arts of Marseille and the Studio National des Arts Contemporains of Le Fresnoy.
