Film tells a story of Piotr, a former gangster, who decides to make a new start in life upon his release from prison. But in his case, turning over a new leaf is not easy. He meets Magda, a visual artist who, touched by Piotr's tragic story, decides to create a stop-motion animation about his life. During that time, Piotr takes up his first legal job as a hospice assistant. Thanks to the warm atmosphere of Magda's home and working with helpless elderly people, he gains an opportunity for a new beginning and a deep transformation. But will he be able to seize it?

Marcin Kopeć was born in 1978 in Gdynia. He earned his degree in Philosophy from the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Gdansk and completed the DOK PRO documentary programme at the Wajda School. He has also participated in a number of theatre and screen writing workshops and completed Scratch DJ Academy in New York. In 2013 he completed a documentary study, 6 filmów o miłości. Walking Spark is his festival debut.
