20 October, 18:30 · Od Nowa – large hall
At 24, Vincent is the charismatic singer of a hardcore band and has already tattooed over half his body. With his angelic face and piercing eyes, he’s got the world in his hands. But when a new woman enters his father’s life, old tensions are inflamed. Vincent can no longer contain his anger and desire.
As director put it: “Compte tes blessures is a shout. A shout of anger and a shout of love. An oedipal movie based on a fatherson rivalry that dares to confront its dark side and its comic incongruity. A race for life towards the adult world in a society of lost souls where an americanized youth meanders along the outposts of the latest trends. A peek into a different Paris, which leads us to discover an alternative but sponsored culture which doesn’t stick its neck out for anything, despite all their tattoos and deafening music.”
