Leon is a hitman with a code of honour. He is one of the best, but one day he decides to go against his own rules and open the door to a small girl, Matilda. She lost her entire family, after a team of corrupt police officers, under the command of the insane Norman Stansfield from DEA, had raided her apartment. Whether they want it or not, now both of them are stuck with each other. Leon teaches Matilda the arcana of his profession, and in return she teaches Leon the art of reading.
