Poland, late 1950s. We see a railway station in a small town. The main protagonist, a stranger from far away, can't find a place for himself in the local secluded community. Can anybody help him find a way out of this situation? The film is based on a short story under the same title, written by Marek Hłasko.

Waldemar Grzesik (1954–2015) was a photographer and multimedia graphic designer. He spent many long years working in the Painting and Polychrome Sculpture Conservation and Restoration Unit at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. He made three films, which won many awards all around the world. He made his film début quite late, when he turned 50.
