There are many ways of visiting Torun. There are monuments, museums, gingerbread, an ocean of great restaurants to visit during the day, and cool clubs to go to at night. Now, there is also a different method that not too many are familiar with. It is a route along the history of film and cinema.
Linda, Hoffman, Szapolowska, Serocki, Ford, Zanussi, Kedzierzawska, Passendorfer, Nasfeter, Blawut, Glowacki, or Wasilewski – one can only continue naming the people connected with the history of cinema and Torun. All the way back to 1931, the city has become a film set quite frequently, and the Old Town has a lot of secrets and surprising places related to the Tenth Muse to offer. In order to fill in that uncharted territory on a tourist map of Torun, the creators of the Tofifest International Film Festival have prepared a special route for you to discover – the Torun Film Route. Two days from now, we shall offer it to you happily and free, in cooperation with the City Council of Torun. Take a journey through “the film Torun”!
