Johnny runs a family farm in the countryside, located far away from the city, in Northern England. He releases the tension and stress resulting from the hard physical labour with heavy drinking at a pub and casual sex. One day, when a handsome immigrant from Romania comes to work at the farm, Johnny is surprised to discover personal feelings he did not know before. Both men work together on the field, which creates a bond and gives Johnny hope for some changes.
