The suburbs in Reykjavik: clean air, peace and quiet, and the perfectly trimmed green lawns. This idyllic atmosphere cannot go on forever: a feud breaks out among neighbours at one of the housing estates. The cause of disagreement is a giant old tree that belongs to Baldvin and Inga and casts a shadow on the garden owned by Eybjorg and Konrad. It is a trivial issue, which later reaches absurd proportions. The neighbours who used to be so well mannered now lose their temper, and wild emotions definitely prevail over common sense...
