She is barely 10 years old, but has enough experience in life to share with a number of her peers. Whatever the institution she ends up in, she will be expelled, sooner or later. To describe such cases as Benni, who may appear as completely harmless at first glance, there is a slang term used by social workers: they call them “system crashers.” There is a purpose behind all the aggression, screaming, fierceness that determine the girl’s behaviour: she is desperate to come back home and reunite with her beloved mother.
