The things you fear the most are to be found in broad daylight.
Dani and Christian are two young Americans, who are going through a rough time in their relationship, and summon up the last of their strength to save it. After a tragedy in her family, grieving Dani makes a decision to join Christian and his friends to go on vacation to the north of Sweden. Upon getting there, they find an isolated village, where people celebrate a pagan holiday related to the summer solstice, which happens once in every 90 years. Their romantic trip soon turns into a cruel and disturbing experience. The idyllic landscape becomes a battle ground on which Dani and Christian will have to fight against all odds to save their relationship and overcome their weaknesses.
