We see a child pressing his face to the window of a car. Inside it, there is a British artist PJ Harvey and her associate Seamus Murphy, a multi-award winning photojournalist and filmmaker from Ireland. All three are now in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, which is one of the three destinations they want to get to. The other two is Kosovo and the districts of Washington inhabited by the poor. PJ Harvey is looking for new inspirations, collecting impressions and words, observing, listening, and absorbing. We hear her thoughts spoken off camera. The words she speaks create a chronicle of a stranger, who turns her careful eye to the everyday reality of living in places she visits and get familiar with. The film is a random visual collage, which aims at disclosing the artistic potential of PJ Harvey and the methods she uses to work and find inspirations. Documentary.
