Jurga Naraškevičiūtė was born in Vilnius in 1972. In 1996 received a graduate diploma in Kaunas University of Technology. In 1999 completed a two — year of TV directing study in Lithuanian Music Academy. 2002- 2005 studied in St. Petersburg Film and TV University. She works as a freelance director of TV advertising, also creates short experimental films. In 2010 her short documentary A Friendship was showed in Inconvenient Film festival. This year she is planning to make one’s debut with full-length documentary Not Blank Canvas.
